@Jett I agree the system performance has been a near standstill all day – and I think it will continue to crawl as they add more users and features. As far as features go if they keep adding “gadgets” without fine tuning the existing problems then it’ll be more laughable than the fail whale imho…

I agree with basically everything you wrote. I got my invitation to Google Wave this morning. By mid-afternoon I was banging my head against the monitor because I had already determined how it was used, and what I _could_ do with it, but I couldn’t actually _do_ anything because I had so few friends, and the system itself was at a near-crawl.

However, I have high, high hopes for Google Wave, and plan on submitting as many ideas for improvement as I can, voting for/against others ideas, and enjoying having new reasons to write in my tech blog.
