It seems like everyone is going to SXSW this year. It’s clear that SXSW has become the industry’s premier event for social media discussions. But, some of us aren’t going.

This is my first time going. Last year, I really wanted to go, but it was the week before VON, and I had my priorities, of course. I’m going this year, and I’m thinking it’s going to be the turning point in my career.
We’ll see how THAT turns out. : )
Will be following via twitter and pulver.tv obsessively but alas will be spending the week in the great NYC. Headed to San Jose the following week for VON, which is all my pre-monetization of online video budget allows! Have a fantastic time all!
Well I won’t be going but wish I was! Planning on next year – looking forward to hearing all the great stories.
Connie Reece really helped this girl get a day pass to SXSWi and I am going to make the best of it! Also going to SMC event 9 March. Geoff, we won’t leave you out…after all it is interactive!

My first time going. I am really excited!
It’s right in my backyard. I am in Dallas, so it’s fairly simple for me to make the trek.
Well, I look forward to Shama, Chris and Lauren’s tweets. Bummer, but have fun for the rest of us.
I’m not able to go. I’m saving my travel budget for the RSA show in San Fransisco and CTIA in Vegas, both in April. I hear SXSW rocks. I wish I could go.
Oh, how I wish I was going. I moderated a panel on blog design at SXSW a couple of years ago and the group of panelists are gathering for a reunion. Plus, there are other friends attending I’d love to see again. It’s just not in the cards this year though.
I am, and I can’t wait! It’s my first time and I’m excited. :) Will I see you there, Geoff?
