Hanging Out at The Trend Junkie

Fellow author Greg Cangialosi shot a video with me at the New, New Internet conference.  Be sure to check out Greg’s book on podcasting.  This is an excellent resource.

So, the video — hosted at The Trend Junkie – discussed the adoption of social media in the local DC/VA market, federal social media, client engagement strategies including editorial missions for social media and blogger relations, as well as Now Is Gone.  Check it out.

In addition to Greg’s video, lots of hot content on Now Is Gone in the past 48 hours:

Brian Solis and I published our second Now Is Gone podcast, “Participation is Marketing.”  This was a particularly strong podcast, so be sure to listen.

Plus, more on social media Hustle 2.0: Never Rest on Your Laurels

If you rest on your laurels and provide less in frequency and quality then you will start losing traction. Competitive advantage demands hustle and a long-term commitment to creating quality, compelling content for the community.

Lastly, the “Now Is Gone” social media release was issued yesterday.  It’s official. Books on sale next week.
