In addition to a Squidoo lifestream interface (the Lens), one can aggregate a Lifestream on Jaiku. From a user standpoint, Squidoo is easy like Blogger, while Jaiku seems more functional and a little cleaner. Plus it’s got all the benefits of a microblogging platform, allowing you to “Twitku.”
I can’t speak to Jaiku’s SEO capabilities (I am sure its great), but I do know that Squidoo was designed to be an SEO monster. This SEO strength may be in decline, so I am not sure which platform has stronger SEO. As a marketer, I highly value SEO.
One other major difference: Squidoo allows you to easily import storefronts into your Lens. Not a big deal for most, but with a book coming out this was an important difference. Again, I am not sure if Jaiku will support eCommerce. It just wasn’t easily apparent to this Luddite as he set up his Jaiku “lifestream.”
I’ve reposted by Squidoo lifestream below. Which one do you like better, the Jaiku lifestream or the Squidoo lifestream?
