Hi Geoff,

Thanks for the pointer to the video - but I need to point out that we were not working with Amex.

Converseon have produced that machinima video to promote our Second Chance Trees reforestation project, which has been selected as a finalist in the American Express Members Project.

Here's a release with details: http://blogit.webitpr.com/?releaseid=6166

We are the only social media focused initiative in the last 50, I'm surprised more people didn't see the potential of leveraging social media for a good cause!

Cheers!

From Eric Eggertson (mistakenly deleted by butterfingers, here): Geoff: I wasn't actually trying to suggest that all freebies are unethical. Some freebies (such as munchies, if I'm dragging a bunch of people out to an event) are part of event management, while others (free plane trips) obviously come with ethical baggage.
